United Way of St. Charles' manager Jara Roux recently accepted a check for $300,000 from Dow's United Way Campaign Chair James Elder for 2004-2005. Through contributions and volunteer participation in site events that included a golf tournament, site jambalaya and a fishing rodeo, Dow employees donated nearly $250,000 for the site's 2004-2005 United Way Campaign Drive. Total corporate contributions amounted to $50,000, bringing the contribution total to $300,000.
